Applesauce

From sitting in bags in the cold room

To washed in the sink

To waiting in the drain

To cut in bowls

To cooking in pots

To a pan

To be transferred to the bowl

To be run through the machine

Into a bowl

To be dumped into the roaster

To jars

To the canner

To cool on the table

To be washed in the sink

To dry on the table

before being put into boxes for the winter.
Assuming...

it makes it that far.

Then, there are dishes

to wash

and dry

and cleaning to do.

But the work is worth it,

and singing

makes everything more fun.

And there's the photo opportunities:

What can I say? We're the descendants of Bloomers, after all.

Nothing beats fresh, hot, foamy applesauce!

  1. I'm thankful that you and the other descendants enjoyed yourselves. :-) Thank you very much for repeating this process once again with your sisters Jeannette. I love you, Mom
